Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Michael A. Burnham manages a wide variety of conditions relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Burnham practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from complete dental arch implant reconstruction to corrective jaw surgery and wisdom tooth removal. Dr. Burnham’s staff is trained in assisting with intravenous anesthesia (medicine given through the veins) and general anesthesia within our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients’ vital signs are continuously monitored during and after surgery to ensure their safety.
Surgical Staff
Dr. Burnham’s surgical staff is experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants who assist in administration of sedation and in surgery. His front office staff is experienced, well-informed and extremely knowledgeable about insurance policies. All staff are CPR certified.
